That poor man! He's been through so much!

He had a pretty good day. Ate without choking which is an improvement and has been able to lengthen the time between pain meds from 4 to 6 hours. He is able to move his head better and is walking around the house with the walker for balance. He still has the brain fog from the anesthesia but it takes time to go away. He starts PT next week. He really wants to get outside!

I bet he does! Our Larry is not one for layng around for long! Thanks for the update, Iris! Glad to know he's recovering well. Sit on him till the dr says he can get up!

Yeah they will pick up the one that pays the most.

That stinks! Once they take your money, you should have a guaranteed ride! When Yellow Cab was king, they came to your door when your requested them and they didn't run off to get a better fare. They were committed to you until they delivered you, and you didn't pay until the ride was over. I would assume the cost of gas was built into the pay structure. I would not expect to pay $X for the ride plus $Y for the gas, that's absurd!
