Morning y'all. My polish is sick. I saw her from the window. She's just laying on the ground. So I've got to check her, and I'm going to try and get a head count. And some new pics of the "babies."

Wishing, I drove 3 hours one time to pick up some Ameraucana eggs. She had sent pictures of beautiful eggs. Not really dark blue, but just a nice consistent blue. I took along a dozen blue eggs from my Araucana project to swap her. When I saw her eggs, I was so disappointed! They were bluish green at best but still more green than blue. She wanted to argue about the color and kept insisting they were blue.

When we put two of her eggs in the carton with the eggs I brought, she was amazed. I wouldnt trade with her, so she offered me money for them. And we parted ways. She contacted me last fall looking for more eggs. Her hens had started laying and she wanted more pullets.

I forgot the most important part!! At 8:30 I'm attempting to relay my grand scheme for the new coop to the nomads. e
