I asked this before and don't think it was answered. My silver laced wyandottie is less than a year old and hasn't played an egg in weeks. Is it normal for this to happen to such a young hen? All the rest are still laying strong. Even the two year old Brahma lays every other day.

Your hen shouldn't molt until 16-18 months and a first year SLW hen should keep laying through. mine is.
