The blowing winds yes, we've been getting enough snow everyday that I have to shovel

that's not good..the last snow we had DH had to clean it off the carport,but we don't get as much as you.

our problem is we sit down in a valley & we have so many roof lines coming in from all directions & we get so much blowing winds. The snow just drifts & settles heavy on the roof. When the ceilings start making cracking noises I know the load up there is getting too much & that its time to shovel.
