Buying a house would be ideal... But just not there. Rent to own adds an addition to the rent... 1600 is so expensive... That would be hard to meet.

I wouldn't think that the temp is any different for what ever breed of chickens you are trying to hatch.   Except for maybe the uber rare breeds and none of your's are. 

temps are the same for EE .. far as I know. I incubated my seramas at th same temps.. Speaking of, I wish i had my camera out there today ! I was sitting out there and heard one of the polish screaming bloody murder . My white one comes flying out of the coop with my micro serama rooster on her back holding on for dear life .  She was actually trying to buck him off. and he fell a few times but got right back in the saddle !

I was just thinking that since heat rises and my thermometer was near the top of the leghorns eggs and my blue laying ee eggs were smaller that it could be a little difference in temp.


I would've loved to see that. Well did he stay on the full 8 seconds?
