Hi all back from the farm. I have a few Porter hair ball's/wads/matts. He (Porter) likes the back of his head scratched.

They are not so fond of carrots and especially the frozen raw ones.. Rod's fridge is "wonky"
Got the brooder room all set up and the oil filled heater plugged in and cranked up. Have 16 days to get the temp between 90 and 95 I figure they and huddle under the heat lamps if they get a little chilled. 4 or 5 heat lamps on in there as well. 3 - 1 gallon feeders filled and waiting. Not sure if I am going to use all 4 or just 3 of the gallon waterers have 55 chicks coming. Rod is picking up 2 maybe 3 goat bucklings all weaned. Told him to rubber them right away. Complements of Camping's research/experience.
11 boxes of eggs sold today so far

And Rod know's some people who might want to buy my flock of Silver Laced Wyandotts told him 5 bucks a bird and they must take them all. I will have less butchering this way and almost pays for all the new chicks.
