Yup! Using the coolerbator idea but with a plastic tote, bubble wrap insulation stuff, and a lot of duct tape instead of a cooler.

Hello hello! Still battling lack of internet access. Seems to be working now. We'll see how long it lasts. Was hoping hubs would call the service provider, but no, no confrontations please! If it gets spotty again, I will call. Company is not known for consistent cable tv service, so I imagine we will have occasional problems with the internet access.

It's all still amazing stuff for me! But then I am easily amazed. As a kid, I thought pay phones were so cool, and for a dime, I could call anyone I needed to. An sending a letter? For 15 cents, someone would take the letter from my mail box and deliver it to anyone I want in the US! Amazing! Now, my kids say What's a pay phone? and Why would you waste money on snail mail when you can text or email instantly? Time goes by! Got a smart phone in your pocket and you have pretty much the whole world--- libraries of information, maps, movies, and you can talk to or contact pretty much anyone, anywhere in the world... in your pocket! Fantastically, stupendously AMAZING!!!

Today, I have accomplished much needed resting.

We watched the first playoff game for the Warriors and I finished a book I started. The chicks are out enjoying the warm day in a much bigger ground cage. Hopefully little Bueno has not been picked on so much today. The back of his head as mostly bare. And it's been a pullet doing it too! She's an aggressive little ___________ (blankety-blank). Not sure what we are having for dinner, or when, for that matter. We will think of something.


There, not if my service disappears again, you will know of my very idle, but enjoyable, day!

My EE babies are so pretty! Pan Fried is either a pullet or a late bloomer. Some other definite roos with big pink combs. Or just early blooming girls??

Only problem is after I spent about an hour sawing plexiglass in half (hand saw, dont got nothing else) it snapped in half and now I have to start ALL over with that. Might cave and buy a pre-cut piece just so I don't gotta do that again!

Probably shouldn't have even tried it in the first place.... I knew it was brittle after sitting outside all winter.

Razor blade is your best friend... Take your blade and stroke a few strikes on both sides and snap it.

do you have the hole made yet ? I thought about a picture frame when I made mine and cut the hole to size. 

No..... I didn't wanna make a hole the wrong size and start over if I had to find something else for the window! (Which I am gonna have to)
