NOW  lindalou do not run at you hubby gnashing your teeth in hunger when you see him.   Will tramatize the poor man  which could make latter on a bit difficult.

My brother in law is the only other that lives here and he's poorer than me and doesn't know how to drive. It's good. I'll be okay. If I were desperate I'd call my folks

how soon before you move to a place that allows chickens???
They allow them here but I couldn't co-ordinate the move with them. I gave away 22 SFH'S when I moved. I'm glad I did. The place I am now allows chickens but is far to rural to keep them safe. Coons, bobcats, foxes and don't forget the giraffes!

Then you just need a secure coop and run!!!that is doable when winter is over.

Your renting now right ??? Makes sense then to not put a lot of money into a "safe" coop and run that you couldn't take with you.
