Ok dinner done, dishes done. What's everyone up too? Red & Sally, what in the world are you guys up too? Granny, sure wish one of us were close by to give you a hand on the bator. Sounds like a lot of work to me. I'm sticking to the broodies for now. If I decide I want to hatch a quantity I've got 3 Bator's to do it with. I've got a Silkie that went broody the other day. This poor gal doesn't have enough sense to even set on the eggs. I keep finding her off to the side of them lol. What a dingbat, she is confused. She is currently helping momma Silkie take care of the 7 babies. She went broody in the same box that Momma & babies were already in. The little ones run to the box & crawl under her as well as their momma. Someone layed 2 eggs in the past 2 days but when I went out there this morning she was sitting on the nest, but not the eggs. I keep taking her out of broody mommas nest box, but she's determined to be in it. I think I'm going to have to move her next door until she's broke.

are you guys hiding crap from me ? Where is Papa ? he hasnt been on today, is something wrong with his wife and Red, Is something wrong with Pearl ?   You guys bout got my nerves shot . Lisa sick, people missing.  Your not allowed to get sick !!!!  :hit
Granny you know the only thing wrong with me is being a pervert. Well and the cp, bulging disk, and spinal stenosis. But that's it. Where has papa been?

granny I am discussing with husband if he would have a fit if I make and ship you a regular coolerbator not sure how we could do this as you would need to put the thermostat in it at least, all the other electricals I can keep long enough to fit over into the cooler lid to ship, but you would still need to install the wafer and adjust nut, and thats not hard..... not sure of the cost for shipping something a regular sized cooler, but at least they are lightweight....and I think thats what matters, but I never really shipped anything big. although they arent that big.

tell me this.... how many eggs do you need to incubate at one time? do you really need a big cabinet are you sure a reg cooler wont work for you?
