Some of those green eggs are over 60g. From first time layers! Hoping for giant jumbo eggs from her. The basket of 13 EE eggs was 906g. The 16 hona eggs are only about 600g.

Going to church in the morning, in big town, so I'll be certain to pick up bator supplies.

looks like you got an extra there . hahhaaa

So good news.

1. Got a new laptop. Yay! (Still posting from the mobile device - getting things set up)
2. SAM LAID AN EGG!!!! It's been awhile for her...about two months...so I was happy as heck to see a blue egg today.
3. Bad news. The plague continues unabated. Ugh. Feeling like heck run over by a truck.
Awesome on 1 and 2 Hugs for 3!

What do mites look like??? I'm going to grab my bird tomorrow and check her out.

very tiny crawly things . half the size of a flea. If you put them under a magnifier they would look similar to a spider I think, there are different kinds.

My birds had the dust-looking kind on their feathers. It was like crawling sand. But they also had the kind that are yellowish-clear like termites. I think those are the lice? They lay thick crusty eggs at the base of feathers ESPECIALLY around the vent. They chewed my white layers raw before I figured it out.

I dusted them and everything around them with sevin.
