The marigolds are potted . I have 3 pots w/4 in each. I used my galv. chicken water bucket for one of the pots. LOL still have the 5 tomatoes.
There is a ton of bugs flying out there and the chickens have turned into jack in the boxes.

you should take pics of them.i like to use different things for pots too.chicken water bucket sounds perfect...

I used rocks to keep the plug open so it would drain. Just pushed it open and wedged it behind there.

that will work.do you remember when people had no inside plumbing and they kept a pot in the bedroom incase you needed to go potty and didn't want to go outside in the dark..I have two of those white with a lid.from my granny.i planted flowers in them,when mother saw them in my yard she said get rid of them before anyone sees them and this was before dementia..she was really upset.she also got mad when i made snow women with boobs..
