But I'm with y'all. Tired of being the sweaty fat woman. I need to increase my activity. Walking is easy, but the mosquitoes are still too bad right now. :/ maybe I'll dust off my yoga DVD...

I buy a plant ever year that gets rid of mosquitoes.they don't like the smell. i put one on both porches.i can't remember the name..crs

Citronella? There's no hope for getting rid of them. With the river and the swamp on site, plus the pond, plus the fact that the whole thing is sometimes standing water, we just really don't stand a chance. I saw lots of them all over the marigolds last year.

That's why my birds always catch fowl pox. There's nothing to really help.

But my little trap from amazon is working well. No mosquitoes on the back porch. I'm willing to try a bigger one now.
