This model is NOT weatherproof and has to be plugged in. It has a light and a fan: bugs are attracted to the light and get sucked through the fan, so they can't get back out. It catches moths and June bugs, too. I'm super happy with it. It's supposed to disrupt the life cycle by killing adults before they lay eggs.

They don't play out right now. If the sun is hot enough to know I the mosquitoes down then I'll spray the kids and let them out. We've got heavy rain every day this week, so lots of indoor activities.

I want the one that covers 1/2 an acre. Mine only covers 300 ft. I bought it for the coop, I just need to run an extension cord out there to try it.

Wishing, I dont think I am ready for video yet are you ? I still have problems remembering what button to push to take the picture. LOL and I am taking some bad pictures that I dont know how to get rid of except load them on the computer and let them erase off the camera that way. Does that matter ?

I guess maybe you were asking about summer? The parish sends a truck out when the weather is right, but it has to be warm enough with no chance of rain. The hot sun is the best trick. We usually don't have them bad in the summer, except down in the woods or in the swampy areas of camp. The main areas are ok. We encourage campers to bring spray, but we provide it also. Same with sunscreen.

No, but it's easy to delete ones you don't want. I can show you how, but maybe tomorrow. Kind of tired. It's been hot here. No one is sleeping well. I can show you movies too. Best way to learn is just keep taking pics. You will eventually hit all the buttons!
