Most of the feeds are primarily corn too, so not sure if it;s such a huge worry. Ones that are susceptible will have the problem. Do you ever let them free range? You have so much land. Would save on feed too.

I do but not enough. I have littles in there and they have just went out for the first time couple days ago. I used to let them range every day and was losing 2-3 a day.

bar-tending is not for the weak. I didnt even drink when I started. couldnt stand the taste of beer I made friends, fell into the life. started going in on my days off. Next thing I know I am living with a man and pregnant. was still working and highway men came in and started shooting up the bar. Roberts father threw me behind a cooler (as I was just standing there ) and laid on top of me. That was my last day .

How did you talk your son into a drivers liscense? Michael is 16 turns 17 this year and has zero interest!!

Talk him into it? Hohohoo... badger him into it is what I did. There is no public transportation where we live, so no way to get to town. I had to drive #2 to a different high school in a different town, so #1 had to drive himself or take the school bus (picks up before 7am, gets home at quarter to 5, bus stop is half a mile away). Took us half the year, with me prodding and cajoling, but he finally did it. He still won't drive unless he has to. I think it's a sensory thing. He's kind of hyper sensitive (for all senses) so you can imagine driving is kind of like drinking from a fire hose instead of a straw. Too much too fast. We plan out and practice a route several times, and then he's good to go. Sort of.

That's scary. I told wishing that you would have stories to tell her son to talk him out of it. I told her food service of any kind was a no go in my book.

Michael is just plain scared of it. I might have to borrow those boots.

She was standing with her back hooves so far apart when I walked up I was totally sure she was birthing something. Believe it or not, she scratched an itch and put her feet closer together. So she was more spraddled than this at first.

I have discovered why Robert wont drive. Its the coordination developmental disorder. WOW I spelled that right. LOL Part of his brain that controls movement is not fully funtional. his legs are slow on the draw. plus gas or breaks gets hit hard.
