There are other varieties, but this is the blackcurrant.

Yes you can, they're quite tart!
They also come in red and white varities!!!

I think they are currants too. There are many kinds, some are yummy, some not so much.

Yes, I think that it's either red or black currants, or some other variety!

I'm thinking red, since the picture I posted of the bud things are greenish-reddish colored. Is red and black the only kind of currant?
