grapefruit?

I have alot of grapefruits and am wondering if I can feed them to my chickens? TIA

i have read a few times...no citrus at all.

I have give them citrus before, oranges, Clementine.
They are not fund of it and some will not touch it. I believe that chickens now by instinct what they can eat and what they cant.
Nothing crazy happens to the chicken though. People use to give their chickens all kind of stuff to eat the old days. And chickens where no picky eaters like all the reports want us to believe.

We had a grapefruit tree in our backyard and it was impossible to keep it from them. They liked it a lot. Never had trouble with laying or any other health issues. They never ate a whole lot at one time, though.
