But dont eat it...lol I killed a HUGE one a few weeks back, my dobes caught it in the edge of the woods and brought it up to the yard. Guess it was lurking around trying to get in the chicken pen. Was in the middle of the day though...weird....
Young coon used to be commonly served with sweet potatoes. Older ones tend to be pretty strong, and need a lot of boiling before barbecuing. Also need to be careful to remove the scent glands when you clean them. They can flavor the food in a bad way.
