I got a message from my guy in China. He said the package has cleared customs and is on its way. I'll post another update when tracking shows the package has made it to the united states.

Yes, they really don't crow after a successful caponizing (not a slip) yes they will look just like a roo w/ pretty feathers, the comb and wattles will not be bright or big though, they will not mount the hens and be unable to fertilize eggs.

So do they just keep getting bigger and bigger? That would be great for those who like to look at boys but can't have them. I just picture them turning into a Cornish x (lazy and heart attacks)

I don't keep a capon as a "pet", so can't answer from personal experience but from everything I've read and heard from others, no not like a CX, more like your neutered dog.

Una vez que un roo ha sido castrado éxito no va a ser agresivo con otros hombres, que no cantará, será mucho más dóciles, estas son cosas muy buenas si quieres un roo mascota y vive en la ciudad. En el lado de comer, que son capaces de procesar a una edad mucho más antigua y aún así ser tierna, así que para aquellos que quieren salir del cascarón emabrgo propios huevos para comer y no hacer frente w / canto masivo, y la agresión de una almohadilla bachlor, y quieren para dar emabrgo roos tiempo suficiente para llegar a un buen tamaño comer w / o que sea tan difícil que necesita ser cocinada a fuego lento.

Realmente, el motivo de capar los pollos, es para que su carne este mas tierna y jugosa, ya que la grasa se filtra entre la carne, es una tecnica muy antigua ( del tiempo de los romanos) habiendo razas de pollos concretas para estos menesteres, una vez capados se les ceba y están dispuestos para ir a la mesa dos meses después de la operación
Efectivamente al faltarle los testiculos, se vuelven mas dóciles, no cantando ni peleandose, del mismo modo se vuelven mas esbeltos y sus plumas toman un color o brillo especial. Falta decir que al mismo tiempo que se realiza la intervención, es necesario recortar la cresta y las barbillas, pues al faltar el riego sanguineo se secan y quedan muy feas.

Podrías poner, si has hecho fotos, los instrumentos que utilizaron?, pues aunque conozco alguno de ellos, el de cauterizar no lo habia visto y mucho menos usado.

I used the translator and think you were asking for pics of tools?, if so there are pics through out this thread both of tools and procedures, at the beginning of the thread, around page 106 I believe are the big picture posts of the procedure, but the tools pictures I'm not sure of page number, but if you scroll through you will see them.
