I like those rib spreaders, but I don't like any extractors as well as my spoon forceps. I just wish I could get smaller ones. :/

I got a Chinese capon set. I got the cockerel set. I PM'ed him through here and he corresponded likewise. Sometimes it did take a day or so to get back. Here is a snippet of an email regarding the pricing. Unfortunately, it is not a monetary "conversion" from their website. I think they use an enterprising advantage and price accordingly. With that said, I did buy the set and the spreader is a lot different than anything I had access to here.

I am having the extra prongs on the weitlaner ground off to leave just 1 and 2 "teeth" which I think will work better and help minimize the incision and spread.
Thanks for the update on the superglue, and that it healed well w/o stitches. Not to jump topic, but I know people discussed using super glue instead of stitches if necessary, on Saturday with my one failed attempt I did use super glue (Locktite super glue)on the rooster, other than gluing myself to the rooster, the super glue did not hold. I checked it around noon and saw that the sore was completely opened so I tried to glue it again but folded the skin differently, it looked like it would hold but around 7 pm it was open again!! So I just left it the next morning the wound had closed up on it's own and looked ugly but closed, then today it looks much better and closed just fine. I sprayed the wound with Solarcaine, first aid medicated spray and used Betadine several times. He is running around the back yard today trying to fight the other boys.
