My all-time high from a single fox "event" was 23. I don't free-range any more.

I have seen foxes and weasels in the area before but haven't spotted any on my property.

I have had mink do this, and they are in the weasel family, they behead and drink the blood, then sometimes try to carry away the body.

Yea raccoons will be everywhere within a few years. The are definitely the predator that is most suited for life among humans, and where there is humans, there will soon be raccoons.

The blasted fox returned leaving carnage in its wake. My entire juvie flock gone, 2 Buff Orpingtons, 2 Marans, 2 Silkies and 8 Lavender Orpingtons.
I thought their coop was secure but obviously it wasn't.
