Humm wonder who did that experiment?  They might can take 22 below but I doubt they'd be standing in it.

I live in Canada I'm using degrees in .c. And they are fine if you have a bit of straw or shavings on the ground

I hope you realize I was just kidding you, my ducks/geese are out in all weather snowing freezing, but I can tell you most aren't standing around they are up under things laying on their feet and legs.

...Now last winter, I had straw out over the dirt floor pen. And it was a horrible nasty mess come Spring. I don't think I will ever do that again! ... But does that mean my ducks might have issues from being on the snow?
