Grass growing

Hey guys,

How do you keep on top of growing grass where your geese are?

Ours eat it so quickly it’s becoming impossible to keep up

We’re going to do some grass growing cycling and fencing off parts of the garden whilst it grows back using organic fertiliser.

Keen to hear any tips or advice you have

I gave up any hope of a "normal" yard years ago -- what the geese don't eat, the chickens and ducks destroy with their own unique talents.

But I like your ideas and wish you success!

You can try wilding your yard by mixing different varieties of grass with clover and various cover crops so that it’s more of a meadow with different things sprouting at various times.

That's odd.. I have no trouble with the grass in my geese yard. They trim it oh so neatly!
But my duck/chicken yard is dirt/mud/sand/gravel/mulch/&outdoor carpets, lol. (I keep them separate - or there would be zero grass for my geese)

Out of curiosity, how big is your goose yard, and how many geese do you have?
