Grass

Thanks for the info, that is what i was looking for just couldn't remeber the name of the grass. my geese have been eating Perennial rye gosh I hope it's okay for them to eat. Also Winter rye grass. I have also planted lots of clover but they prefer grass over it.
I had a quick look on Google about rye grass and fungus. Just reading it quickly, seems the fungus problem is more when the grass is able to get longer and in wettish seasons...I imagine where you are that the rocky terrain and the geese will make the environment different for it. Be worth a look on google, perhaps?
However, it shows Ryegrass to be a good one for feeding geese....
There are fungi, of course, that will grow in other grasses too. There´s one that can be a problem here in Brazil in the type of grass I have, but I´ve not come across it in my grass so far.....

Well it's pretty wet outside right now we have had over 2" of rain since sometime early Friday morn. and more to come. They are eating it pretty good. I'll dif take a look thanks livin.
So now I am worried this grass may not be so good for my geese, and here I thought soft thin blades just what I was looking for. It looks healthy right now, I'll just have to keep an eye on it. and hope it doesn't get fungus in it.
