I'm thankful for my wonderful family who tolerate my poultry obsession, and the beauty of Autumn. And, to be positive, the cold temps, which signal that chick season will come soon!

I'm thankful for my husband who isn't really an animal person but puts up with all of my animals and helps with them on occasion. He also puts up with me and all of my crazy hairbrained ideas I come up with all the time.

Today I'm most thankful for my husband.... who knows how to re-light the pilot on the furnace that went out this morning and it's cold....

Oh my, do I have a lot to be thankful for. My hubby, health, dog, friends, chickens, home; this country, BYC, food on my table, a good garden harvest, wood for the wood stove, books to read, and more than I can say thank you for.
