Gray egg white?

I hard boiled some eggs today and saw this for the first time. What is the cause?

How old was the egg? What have you been feeding your chickens?

Ew, was that egg older? It looks like the yolk broke or a smaller yolk next to the big yolk.

I give them some lettuce broccoli shredded carrots from time to time and corn and laying mash from a store called rural king.

Could that egg maybe have been fertilized ? I see something meaty looking there and maybe the extra iron from that made the whites turn grey ? Idk just throwing out some possibilities.

Looks like a double yolker with a meat spot to me. I usually pitch any that have oddities like that but that may be personal preference... usually the double yolkers I’ve gotten are quite bloody and I don’t like eating them, so I pitch them. Haven’t had one with gray egg white though. Does it smell funky?

That’s the first egg I’ve ever seen come out like that. There was no rotten or off smell from the egg either. Maybe a blood spot in the white of the egg?
