greaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat

thanks guys we'll se how it is tomorrow so far so good!!! my mom was bit by the same cat and was okat but we can never be too sure

Puncture wounds need to drain! Just keep it clean! Maybe use a salty water solution to rinse it out a few times a day (just like for caring for a body piercing). Hope you don't have any problems.

So this cat has a history of biting, does he just do it out of the blue or are you playing with him when he does it? If he's doing it out of the blue, why are you tolerating it? Something could really be wrong with that cat!

I know it sounds mean, but maybe you should find a more "social" cat for your family.

We had a cat like this, used to bite out of the blue. Like you'd pet her and shed purr purr purr then turn her head around and nail you after a certain point. One of our neighbors actually came around asking if she had her rabies shot because she did the same to them. But, it's not really her. She was attacked when she was relatively young by a pack of wild kids so if you scream/fight she'll walk up and bite you in the leg too. I understood why and what her triggers were but that didn't mean I'd tolerate it. I can't tell you how many times I tried to frankly sit down with my mom and tell her what sort of liability that cat was all the time, but she just couldn't do the final step to actually abandon or put her down.

we have 6 cats. he is the only biter. one cat won't even bite you, even if you are rough with him lol. but my kitty bagheerah (the biter) has always bit when you cuddle. my mom says they are love bites. idk he is my kitty and i loves him. he is a sweet boy, he will walk up today anyone and rub on their leg and purr. the cat who bit my dad really bad was a different cat and she only bit him cuz he was breaking up a fight and he picked her up and she bit him.

i had even forgotten about my bite till now. i have ducklings hatching

my arm seems normal. i will put warm sea salt on it later (that's what i did for my belly button ring)

If it's a really deep puncture, soak it in a betadine solution a couple times a day. Not straight betadine...mix it with water.

That's what the urgent care center doc told my wife to do when she got bit BAD by one of our dogs..

it's not bad. i had to force it to bleed. i pinched it and it bled lol. if i took a pic no one would be able to see it

Glad it wasn't anything serious.

I could only speak from my experience with a cat we had. He would just snap and attack, and i don't mean love bites... he'd bite hard! one of my dogs got bit so hard that the cat punctured his sinus cavities on his head, they got so infected the vet had to put drains in his head... and then the cat started attacking us. There was no cause for his behavior...... so I guess my concern is that you should try to stop him from biting anyone at anytime, I'd hate to hear later that he really nailed you or someone else a good one later.
