Grease lightning!

One of my girls "Garbage" got a nasty wound on her comb a few days ago. We put pine tar on it and it healed up fine with no further pecking. Only one problem...she looks like shes about to yell "crazy! Cool!" Any idea how to get rid of the greaser look?

Dawn dish soap. It's what used to get oil spills off birds, etc.

Excellent. Ill have to try it when i have a second pair of hands here. My birds dont like baths
