This will postively be the very last thing I have to say on the subject. My intent was not a deflection but an attempt, futile though it may have been, to get people to educate themselves. To take the time to actually look things up, and to compare the various health plans and proposals, past and present, rather than just whining about them. And if Romney had been elected, you can bet Romneycare, for better or worse, would not be confined to Mass. As for me, I am really tired of the whole topic. It doesn't affect me one way or the other and it is not my problem. What's more, I have no doubt if it wasn't Obamacare people would find something else to get their knickers all in a wad about. Now, I have had my say and that's all folks. Over and out.

Uproar going on the Middle East, looks like we MIGHT send our troops BACK to Bagdad and I got a gut feeling, it is not going to go well. Prices for food are going to skrocket and so will our gasoline, oil, etc.
Looks like our fun hobby is going to be very short.......the interest in WWII is increasing while the CW is losing people that are heading into WWII reenactments. You would be hard pressed to find originals and reproductions of WWII and it will be the seller's paradise! I am starting to see more and more events are charging admission fees when it used to be FREE.

I am sorry Ewesheep, but re enacting wars is like living nightmares over and over again. I would rather not.
For what it is worth, I was stationed at Pleiku Air Base in 1965. In November, the First Air Cavalry camped outside the base. They were protecting the II Corp headquarters of the South Viet Namese, Camp Holloway and not to mention the Cu Hanh air field. I took a lot of pictures of them. It was probably the last pictures taken of some of those soldiers. They went into Ia Drang valley where they met up with the Peoples' Republic of Viet Nam troops. It was the first major encounter with the North Viet Namese Army. It was a blood bath.
They were soldiers; I was a clerk.
My kids always promise to help me scan those slides. I would like to put them on FLIKR or Pinterest. The kids always promise, but then they don't.

Dennis, is that worse than honoring in the rose garden the family of a turn coat deserter?
The US government is dropping off little OTM kids at the Greyhound terminals in Arizona. They are dumped in 110 degree heat. The sheriff is so busy changing diapers and caring for kids that they cannot enforce the law.
Things like this do not happen without organization. Transiting Mexico is difficult for an adult OTM, it would be impossible for a child. Someone is organizing this invasion. I suspect it goes back to the White House. But, like Lois Lerner's e mails, the trail will all disappear.
What is happening to our country? The leadership of the Taliban got set free. The war in Iraq was for nothing. Soon, the Sunni and Shia will be at war, and it will not be a nice war. Worse, it will not be contained to the Middle East. No, we will see problems here and everywhere in this world.
