I see another airliner has gone missing. If they don't find wreckage, it is a bad sign.

Hmmm! That guy dancing on top of the RV is liable to break his neck.
The panels I see being installed over parking areas here seem to be much more durable as to being tied down. They are in aluminum frames. I wonder how long until some crack head starts stealing the metal.
But the panels seem to be more glassy than those in the video. I hope they can stand up to a hail storm.
Plastics break down real bad here. Dashboards of cars melt and deteriorate. Trim pieces glued on with some boogery substance fall off.

When I and the wife were younger, we thought we would retire in Mexico. Well, Mexico came to us. We live in a barrio populated with undocumented people. Some have been here for fifteen or twenty years and have kids that grew up here.
The kids don't speak Spanish and know nothing of Mexico. Their parents came here to work and get a grub stake for a business or ranch in Mexico.
The reality is that just about no one goes home. They send money home to support their kin folks and build nice houses, but in the end, they end up married to someone they met here, and they never really go home.
These people had hoped for a indulto so that they could become legal. Well, this influx of people from Central America really messed it up for them. There is a lot of resentment. I don't know how this will work out.
The Democrats think that if they can keep all the illegals here, that eventually, they will be able to register and vote. Well from my perspective, it looks to me like they are mistaken. The Democrats shot themselves in the foot when they embraced the abortion movement. And then they endorsed gay marriage and that really took the cake.
I think they are really in for some surprise.
Gee do you think they would make solar panels to be able to withstand the sunlight and heat created by it ?
When I was a kid, it was forbidden to speak at school in any language except English. The teachers used to hit kids for breaking that rule. The Indian kids were always getting hit and beat up. A lot of kids became stutterers because of that.
Speaking Spanish with someone became a mark of confidence and trust. The first language the Chinese kids learned was Spanish because that was what was used in their families' businesses.
My wife went to Catholic school and learned English from the Irish nuns. Sometimes, she says the strangest things.
Her cousins went to school in Cananea, Sonora. They never spoke English, but they watched the television and listened to the radio from Tucson. When they came to the US, they couldn't speak English, but after a few days, they were speaking perfect English.
We made sure our kids could read before they went to school. It was our wish to give them the best education we could. They both went to the university and then law school.
When they were little, they spoke good Spanish, but as soon as they went to public school they seemed to lose it. When pressed, they can speak Spanish, but it is un elegant.
We are trying to teach our grand daughter Spanish, but she would rather watch cartoons. It is sad.
