Ohhh! I sense bitterness.

I have no bitterness, I have sadness.

I think we should do what needs to be done for the security of our Nation and our children.

Doing the right thing in their interests is not always a pleasant or easy experience.

Illegals have no respect for our laws, our culture and they certainly have no great love for us, given the incessant violence they bring throughout our Country.

I do not weep for illegals or their offspring. My tears and generosity are reserved for the millions of victims, particularly children, who have been tortured and killed in the United States because we have refused to put boots to backside and evict the criminals who have spread like a plague over our Nation.

If you went into another Country and took what you have no right to, would you have respect for those you are taking from? Of course not.

Why would you respect a doormat?

I have no respect for them or what they have done to my Country.

That is not bitter, that is common sense.

Are you speaking of the Irish who came here by the boatload ?

The Irish were among those who fought in the Revolutionary War and thus have a stake in the foundation of the United States. So no, I would not be talking about them. I'm talking about Mexicans specifically in this instance, but it is applicable to any group who is not among the ones our Founding Fathers were talking about when they said "To ourselves and our posterity." I would imagine there are a few who had a hand in American history, but those are not the ones I am talking about. The ones who did have a hand I would welcome to stay.

If your ancestors had a hand in the founding of the United States, welcome! If not, beat it because the United States belongs to the posterity of the men and women who have sacrificed for it and not to anyone else.

I would say that those who have participated in aiding the United States in later engagements would make for a possible exemption to this statement, but the point is that such persons should not have even been here in the first place, but it is a little late for that and I think that exemptions can be made for rendering service to our Nation.

Besides, I'll take the Irish, particularly the 46 Confederates who chased off 4,000 men with 27 ships and sent them running home to New Orleans at the Battle Of Sabine Pass.

So those "fake protesters" in Thailand elected who here ?

I actually miss him.

It was an example for protesting abroad for comparison with the cases here in the United States that I mentioned.

How old are you that are calling all illegal immigrants criminals and suggesting they defiled our land and took over our jobs, etc etc? I am still in high school and spent the last four years discussing the history of America as well as several other countries, and as far as I can tell, America does pretty well ourselves going places we don't belong and taking over. I'm an American and I lean on the Republican side as many here seem to. However, deciding and labeling that an entire group of people are basically vermin is incredibly rude and narrow minded. Do I think the vast majority need to probably go back to their native country? Yes of course I do. Americans however commit plenty of our own violent crimes and drug issues. I live all around the Amish who are about as "American" as you get around here and their drug problems are outrageous, you would not believe. Do I say then, that the Amish are an invasion and the scum of the country, ruining our tax dollars and should return to Europe? No! Believe as you will about an individual, but as a "child" I ask you all to be mature and control your harmful words against an entire group of people who do the minimum wage jobs the rest of us self-righteous Americans refuse to do ourselves. I will not stand for hate and ignorance. That is all.

So I guess that it would surprise you that there were Hispanics that fought in the Revolutionary War.

I heard there was a statue in New York harbor that said something about sending people here, did I hear wrong ?

How can I alter my settings and what do I need to set them to?

It would not surprise me at all. I'm a DAR member. There were various folks that helped, but minorities were few and far between compared to the majority of Revolutionary War Soldiers. Also, they were generally treated poorly and were not generally placed in combat positions. African Americans for example, were often slaves who followed their masters to the field. Some did fight, but for the most part they provided support. Evidence for them and other minorities in general is also MUCH more difficult to establish, particularly since most were illiterate, as were most of the men at that time and signed their names with an 'X'.

There is a statue there in the New York Harbor but funny that most illegal Mexicans will never see it because they are coming via our Southern border. That is implying that they could even read it, as it is in English and they are Spanish speaking. I mean, reading, writing and understanding English is only a requirement for citizenship in the country, but as far as they are concerned, our laws do not apply to them, because they are Mexicans from Mexico.
