Uh Oh! It looks like Germany has put the "Do Not Resuscitate" sign on Deutsche Bank. If it fails, God only knows what other banks will follow. The rules of the European Central Bank forbid a government rescue. Now it looks like the only recourse is a bail in, taking the equity of bond holders, stock holders and account holders. This is going to be real ugly!

Those poppies used to grow wild here in Arizona. We would harvest the seeds and plant them in the yard. They made beautiful flowers. But the government would send people to pull them up.

I think they were a result of the Chinese that originally settled in the area. Then they went feral.

When Germany joined the EU they gave up their currency (the Mark) for the Euro...as more countries declare default on their financial liabilities (think Greece) the "wealthy" nations are required to take up the slack. Brexit was just the beginning...sorry about the wife's stance. Maybe, a little at the time?

Gee, guess the government can check out people's yards for illegal alien flowers...and remove them. Not so much illegal...excuse me, undocumented flowers...
