Hello everyone,
just wanted to recommend a quick read, perfect for cozying up by the fire this snowy weekend:
"Izzy and Lenore" by Jon Katz. This isn't the first book he's written about dogs, but it is just so precious!! As a rescuer of dogs and a background in hospice nursing, the special gift that "Izzy" the border collie has is extraordinary!!

Will it make me cry? I typically avoid dog books because I always cry! I'm the only person I know who refuses to read Marley & Me.
 
Nope. I won't read Marley and Me either. Too sad.

I did read Dewey the Library Cat and bawled like a baby at the end. Maybe I should just not read the last few chapters of these books...
