Great price on Little Giant Fountain (Auto Waterer)

I have been going back in forth on making my own auto waterer or purchasing. This good deal made my decision for me...can't build something for this price. Got two...one for inside, one for outside!

It seems they can be hooked up to a water hose with an adapter...doesn't seem that involved to me, but I am a newby, maybe I'm missing something!

Anybody have experience with these? Do I need any more than an adapter that goes from the 1/2" to 3/4" for a garden hose, and a way to mount them? I think I'm going to copy this for the mount http://www.randallburkey.com/prodinfo.asp?number=10210 ...$15.99 seems a little steep for this and it looks to be easily duplicated for less with a trip to lowes!

If I'm not mistaken, you have to have a pressure converter thingy if you are hooking it up to a garden hose, or directly to a spicket, as the pressure directly from the faucet is probably too high.
