This is a pyr I walk sometimes, her name is willow as well lol. She's 5 years old and an absolute beauty

At what age do you introduce a LGD to chickens (or goats, or ducks)? I have chickens and ducks now, and I am hoping to get goats in a year or two. Since we have bears, cougars, bobcats, coyotes, etc where we live, I'm thinking about a LGD.

You can start introducing and conditioning them to your livestock when you get them, I personally wouldn't trust them alone till 1 year. Gives time for the puppy brain to settle and have a mature adult mind.
