Ordered 7 EE eggs a little over 3 weeks ago and placed under a broody hen. This morning I have 4 new chicks, one on the way and unfortunately somehow the momma kicked a egg out that was almost hatched and it died from the chill.
So, in theory, had a success rate of 85% which is great in my experience with shipped eggs. I usually only get about a 50% hatch.
I will know tonight when I get home how well the Golden Laced Lakenvelders are going to do. I have 7 of those under a hen.
