Greedy chickens 🤣

Does anyone else just have the greediest chickens ever? I went to lock them up for the night and realised I forgot to collect eggs today so quickly picked them all up, accidentally I dropped one on the floor and it smashed. I’m not sure how, as I’ve dropped them on sand before and they were fine. They decided to leap all the way from the top roosting bar straight to the floor to demolish the egg
They absolutely love eggs but are far too stupid to realise they lay them every day.

My chickens once ate eggs, but that was because I realized they had a vitamin deficiency, so I gave them some extra calcium. But If your chickens aren't eating their own eggs as soon as they lay them then they're probably fine!

Hahah I bet they loved that snack. My grandma calls the chickens "greedy guts" because they love eating so much
