"There she goes. Hopefully she doesn't meet any unpleasant company." said Piper. "Who cares? I'm starving for some of this food! Start the fire!" said Finn. Piper quickly lit the fire, and in no time at all was cooking. "Bacon anyone?" she asked.

Hecate ran through the woods so fast she almost flew. She thought of nothing but the feel of the wind and the glow of the moon, the thud of her paws hitting the soft pine needles, and the spirit of the ancient forest.

"Poor foolish demigodsss, on a quesst they can't complete. You won't even live to sssee your camp'sss lasst momentsss." Acacia shuddered at the sound of scales raking the earth. "And Mother won't even tell you what she knowsss. To think that you are blindly heading to your deathsss... I'll show you what awaitsss you, dear." Darkness. Screaming. The scent of death and blood and musk. The mangled, lifeless forms of Acacia's friends. Pain. Nothing. "Of coursse, it might make you feel better if you think you're pathetic attemptsss will ssomehow help. But you should flee, girl. Go, take your friendsss. Hide from me, try and prolong your livesss. Do not trusst my mother. She would leave you unprepared. Thisss may be your only chance..."

Acacia woke and was unable to sleep again.

"and I got lyacon as a grandpa..." he grumbled, ducking into the imposing cabin and retrieving two elegantly carved Damascus battle axes. He walked toward the flagpole, ignoring the stares from other campers as his long hair fell away from his long, pointed ears. "everyone here?" he asked the waiting people.
"Yes." said Kyma as she landed in front of him. Phoenix arrived a second after.

Here-goes...

They barely got to the hill. After numerous monster attacks they were almost too tired. But they managed. Hawthorne led them into camp just before Stefania fainted.
