"Okay, so," said Piper trying to loosen the tenseness, "Does anyone have an idea on what to do when we get there. Yes, we should at least slow down the giant from rising, but how? Does the goddess have any idea?" Piper said as she looked at Hecate.

"First, there's alway's time for a good argument. Second, we kill the giant. Simple." said Acacia.

"Yea, uh, what if we can't kill the giant?" asked Finn a bit testily. Piper snapped her fingers. "Ah!! Does anyone know if he was bathed in the River Styx? If so, try and think of a weak spot he would have." said Piper concentrating...

"his achilles heel would be a possibility." Hecate said.

"yeah, it seeems likely" here said.

Piper was gasping, out of breath. "Alright," she panted, "We- *gasp*- made it up the mountain. Now where do you think the monster is, Hecate?" "It's not a mountain, it's a glacier. And I know where it is. Have any of you been to Boreas kingdom in the north? I'm guessing Hecate has, but what about you, Piper and Acacia?" Finn asked. Piper gave a blank stare. "Anyways-- Boreas has 'magical' stairs going into his kingdom. That's the sort of thing here! We just have to find the stairs. They're usually hardly visible, so split up in pairs, and let's start looking." said Finn as she split up with Piper looking for the stairs.

"they're over there." hecate said, pointing to a piece of empty air. "I helped to boreas build his, so I know how they function. My best guess, they are right there." she continued, walking toward where she had pointed. Sh'e suddenly kicked out at the air, and a pair of stairs appeared. "see, told ya I'd be handy!" she chuckled.
