Do you walk or run!?

I took Brew to the town landing/boat ramp at the end of the street earlier for his birthday walk instead of our usual super short walks around the corner or barely down the street LOL

I ran/walked up a small "mountain" (really a hill) today with a friend, which was fun. We ended up walking most of the way up and running down. I think it was about three miles total.

I'm currently training to run a 10k, which is six miles. So far I've gotten up to five without any issue, I think I'll go up to six next week. :D
You can do it! I've found a slow and steady buildup works best for me. And once you have a mileage base built up, you can maintain it for other events.

So far in 2026, I'm averaging 10,560 steps per day. That's pretty good considering the many times I have had to walk with a wind chill below 0F (-18C) and blowing and drifting snow.
