(Unfortunately for Maya, her head start is ruined because the Apollo cabin does. But that's okay, because they're not expecting this

Maya flew to the abandoned swallow nest in the stables. She repaired parts of it with straw from the stables and waited.

Sam held his head in his hands, and pulled his knees to his chest. (I'm pretty sure no one even realizes maya left...)

(I'm a tad confused. Why did Maya leave again???)
Seeing that Maya was gone, Faith went to Sam making sure he was ok. "Hey," she said, out of breath from her throbbing headache, "Before I get taken back to the infirmary please explain HOW you could do that!!! That was the coolest thing ever!! A bit creepy, I admit, but still- that was awesome!!!"

(Okay. Maya's dagger, Magus, is enchanted so that if it cuts you, you experience a vision of your worst nightmare. Maya hit an Apollo camper with it. Instead of instantly entering his dream to calm him, his fear affected her in a way that it can only affect a child of Phobetor. Fear to a child of Phobetor is wonderful. She was laughing, so she probably looked like a maniac. She did help him when she came to her senses, but with her laughing and him screaming...)

he looked up at her, regret in his eyes. "I'm a grandson of lyacon, cursed by Zeus to become a man eating wolf. I'm also the son of hades, which amplifies the ability, making me a giant, basically invincible wolf. I only transform when I lose control of my emotions, or on full moons. I could have killed someone!" he said, looking at the ground and hoping Lexi didn't see.

She flew to the Iris, Hades, Nike, Nereus, Hermes and Mneme cabins and woke their occupants (just Serenity in Hermes), told them to meet her in her cabin and waited for them.

Faith helped Sam up. "It's okay. Like what you said, you lost control of yourself the bright side is you didn't kill anyone. You're a great person, Sam." said Faith, backing up being taken away by the nurse with a reassuring grin on her face.

Sam smiled at her, thankfullness in his eyes.

Faith hated the infirmary. She still had a massive headache, but she didn't care! Maya took off as a sparrow, and Sam turned into a gigantic wolf-- there was NO way she was sitting in a stupid demigod hospital bed for the rest of the night. I gotta leave somehow without the nurses noticing me... she thought
