My first memory of birds other than farm poultry was being taken to see rollers perform by my sister and brother in law. I was and remain entranced by flying birds. They said that I cried inconsolably when we left ( I was 4 or 5 at the time). Two weeks later my BIL brought me my first pigeons. Yeah, he was a true GOOD guy. Loved green too, I must mention.
