Fortunately, red hair is a recessive trait. I'm actually being nice when I say "fortunately" because there are some real downsides to being a redhead. Redheads are more prone to skin cancer than people of other coloring. Also, there has been at least one study that has shown that they have a low tolerance for pain.

And then, there is the "green" thing. As one person put it, "your mother dresses you in green, green, green, until you begin to feel like an upside down carrot!" If you like green, it's wonderful. If you don't . . . . (maybe this is what happened to redhen?)

I have lost count of the number of times the Count has brought up redheads on this thread. It's obviously his favorite subject. I guess he thinks redheads look good in green, too!

Yep.... Somewhere way back I have Scots-Irish blood, but I'm as blonde as they come.
