Green eggs and ham

My olive eggs have been hatching and what pretty little chicks. Most look like either a Blue Marans or a Black Copper Marans - all with feathered feet:

Here's the "BCM Look alike" - This one is a little roo - notice copper coloring around beak.

The other BCM roos can't be identified (at least by me) till they start growing combs. The blue chicks are taking after their mother and grandmother - both of whom are blue. The BCM-looking chicks seem to be taking after their daddy and grandaddy - both of whom are pure BCM. I wonder if they will sex out that way - too cool if so - all blues girls - all BCMs boys????? Time will tell - these are my first hatches.

Beautiful eggs! Now I would not mind having a couple of those! Those blow out eggs that is because I wanted to fill up my egg basket with all the beautiful eggs!
