Those are awesome! I was telling DH about these camo green eggs and that hopefully we'll get a nice BCM roo out of these eggs that you sent me so we can work on some nice olive eggers. BTW they're due on 9/5 and out of the 13, it looks like 6 are going strong! I can certainly live with that.

Hey, HappyMtn - I have a Wheaten Penedesenca X blue Ameraucana - she's blue, too, and is really pretty, and lays eggs like Ruth's olive eggers do! Here is Princess - you can really tell she's half Penedesenca - just look at that tail:

The olive eggers are so much fun to work with!

I have a black one a BMC over Ameraucana she lays eggs like that there great I am hatching one of her babies she was in wiht the BBS ameraucana roosters so we will see what I get

I might get green eggs. I have 2 EE/BO hens. Hatched April 3. Maybe in the fall I will find little green pullet eggs.

This week was truly blessed. A friend from BYC heard about my green eggs and my new grandbaby and came to visit bearing gifts - a collection of nursery books - including:

Here's today's basket of green eggs - headed to the incubator where my very first green eggs are already pipped and should be out of their shell soon. I can't wait to see what they look like.

I have wanted olive eggers and now have my ee's and welsummer roo. Can't wait to put them in breeding pen and see what I hatch.
