As a seasoned chicken farmer for two whole weeks now, I have already added a second suite to my smallish coop. I have nine Plymouth Rock Hens about 15 weeks old. I elevated a large dog carrier with built ins for the hens. I was thinking of using spray on insulation for the inside top and side walls but am concerned the birds may peck and eat it. Are my concerns justified?

The chickens would probably peck at and eat the spray on insulation. Chickens also seem to love styrofoam . .
