I saw the prices on Mazuri and didn't think it was bad at all. Compared to $6 for a 1.75 lb. bag it's quite reasonable and although I'll try to provide other forms of fresh food it is really nice to have a dry food to keep available free-choice.

I think people only sell chicks, not eggs (I've never seen anyone selling eggs). It's a bit too risky shipping eggs since they are so valuable and shipped eggs are such a gamble. I think most Green Jungle Fowl hens only lay 3-6 eggs a year.

I sell grey junglefowl & only sell fully-feathered, sexed pairs or singles. The "germ" (pre-embryo) in the egg doesn't hold up well to shipping & results in very low hatching success.
