I checked to see if there were any other topics on the subject but could not find much of anything...Mainly of half grown chickens before their eyes turned orange. Anyway, both of my F1 Ameraucana hens have hazel eyes and they are both a year old. The only other time I ever saw this color was on a splash Silkie hen. Similar to green human eyes, it looks like a combination of a dark brown and orange eye.
