I have Whiting True Blue that is lethargic and can’t stand. She was sitting in the bedding of the coop while all the others were out roaming. She has always been a little different as far as activity levels and has a swollen crop area. Her legs can’t keep her up.
Last week I noticed a Lime green poop. It was also watery.
I’m trying to keep her hydrated but she has no energy.
Any ideas?
The hen is approx 16 weeks old.

Is her neck down all of the time? Will she relax her legs and move her toes? Was she vaccinated for Mareks disease? I would give her some Poultry Cell or NutriDrench 2 ml daily and get her drinking water. If you do not have those, you can put electrolytes and vitamins in the water. It could be a number of things from dehydration, or not getting enough food and water due to not walking well. But I would worry about wry neck or Mareks disease. If she has wry neck, the Poultry NutriDrench would help some. Sunflower kernels would be a good treat that has extra vitamin E and selenium.

She seems to have control over her head and neck and was vaccinated for Marek. She seems to pep up a little when we get her drinking.
The crop is very swollen.

How does the crop feel—squishy and puffy, or firm? Do you smell and sour or bad odor from her beak? If you have Corid I would try treating for possible coccidiosis.

The crop feels a little squishy and not firm. I just think his crop looks enlarged but he’s been like that since we got her.

She seems to have pepped quite a bit after we got her to drink some water.
Please see the picture for his crop. Thanks so much

I would try to get some electrolytes into her, even Gatorade or Pedialyte, but Poultry NutriDrench is very good. Check her crop again in the morning before she has eaten, when it should feel mostly empty and flat.
