Green poop

hi me again.
I've read the green poop is bad, and today I went in to clean the duck area and noticed green poop.. i cleaned it up before it hit me that it was probably not good but I took these 2 pictures. Ive spent so much money at the vet recently that I'd like to try and fix it at home if possible ... id obviously bring them if necessary. They are sperated, one lays eggs but they both have the same poop. We also put the ducklings in seperated and I want to make sure I can keep them all healthy.

Also they don't have much grass in that area, so it's not from eating grass. (We are setting up the yard for them to safely free range but haven't finished it yet)

Also I was just in formed that my boyfriend changed their food so maybe that could be the problem?

... also I forgot to mention the ducklings (10 wks) have normal poop. They go outside during the day and inside at night as we don't have enough room to separate them all in the closed coop.

What problems were they having in the past? Have they been on antibiotics?

Changing feed can change color of poop and consistency. And if they have been on antibiotics that can make a difference too. Feeding anything other than normal feed also.

Not any antibiotics but the female had prescription I guess antibiotics eye drops but I haven't given them to her in a few weeks. They get some corn and meal worms aside from their food. They are eating and drinking and preening and otherwise acting normal so I guess I will keep a close eye on them. Thanks for helping !

I believe unless it’s very acid green, you should not worry. But keep an eye on any lethargic behavior.

i get some green poop from peas, but also get very black poop from foraging.

Just an update: I started feeding them their old food (dumor crumbles) and we have some normal poop! Thanks for helping !

That’s great and don’t forget the niacin in Brewers yeast or nutritional yeast or some other means.
