Green poop

Just came back from vacation and I noticed my lone hen felt very light. I had instructed her sitter to really sit with her while she eats because she is really spoiled. I think they just put food down and left her. Now her stool is dull dark green. How can I get her back on track? Any thoughts? Thanks

Her poop is probably green because she hasn't been eating well. The green is most likely high bile content. Get her some protein rich foods- scrambled eggs and yogurt. Also get her some company. Solitary chickens don't do well. They need constant companionship. I think now that her primary flock members (you) are back she will improve, but she needs some other birds around her.

my 4mo old silkie chick has green poop, just noticed today she was just sitting down making little silkie squawking noises. I brought her in. I guess I better try to force some yogurt down her beak...
